Roland Bischofberger is, as he likes to emphasize himself, a self-taught sculptor. However, it must be added, he has been working as a freelance sculptor since 1983 and has done so successfully from the very beginning. From the very beginning, the medical graduate drew attention to himself with his ideas and also with his "technical" sculptural skills, and today he can point to almost three decades of successful artistic work - which, by the way, not every academically trained sculptor can claim.
