Andrea Bucci is a trained architect and has also worked as such for a number of years. As a sculptor, he is self-taught - although one who was familiar with artistic work of many kinds from childhood, because Bucci is the son of an artist and spent countless hours in his childhood in his studio. His first own works were created at the age of 20. Since giving up architecture to devote himself solely to his artistic work, he has produced an extensive body of work that is represented in private and public collections in Italy and abroad; commissioned works for public spaces have taken him as far as Far Eastern China. Today he lives and works in Lucca, Tuscany, where he also shows his work in his own private gallery and communicates it to customers interested in art.
