Erwin A. Schinzel (1919 - 2018)

For more than three quarters of a century, the sculptor Erwin A. Schinzel to art. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. Since 1945 he worked as a freelance artist, first in Augsburg, since 1991 in Waldbronn. He also worked as a professor at the International Academy in Bologna and at the International Academy of Fine Arts in Altenberg. 

In the course of his long life, Schinzel has created hundreds of sculptures and shown his ability in almost all genres: his work includes interior sculptures, fountain sculptures and outdoor sculptures, and he has also repeatedly excelled as an "animalier". Schinzel's award-winning work is represented in numerous public and private art collections and has been shown in solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
