ARTFUL SAILING SHIP MADE OF GLASS

The SAILOR combines abstract shapes with surreal motifs and expressionistic colors. A small work of art that inspires the imagination to go on a journey.
The sail is decorated with an overlay engraving. For this, a base glass is first covered with a layer of colored glass. Then this layer of color is removed from the base glass with an engraving device. The depth of the image is created by the varying thickness of the layer of color left standing.
Each object is unique, no two SAILORs are alike. In the production process, the artist is guided by his inspiration.
