A beautiful, large format and complex work, both fantastic and realistic: the reindeer are modeled and sculpted like real animals, and they seem to jump and run over the clouds. Highlights include such minute details as the reindeer's antlers or their paws, the sled's skates, the small toys or even the tiny leather pompom on Santa's hat. His facial expression is happy and smiling. Noteworthy is the decoration of the sides of the sleigh, where mistletoe motifs on a dark brown and green background are reflected with red beads.
