Product description
The beginnings of human culture as myth: the moment in which Prometheus wrests fire away from the gods to make it serve humans.
Sculpture in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
Patricia Losada Casanova (1968)
The Spaniard Patricia Losada Casanova has degrees in the subjects of literature and graphic design. This might explain why she can so expertly tell stories with her sculptures. The human being is at the centre of most of her works – as a filigree figure with overly long extremities who, alone or in groups, attempts to cope with a "world" that is usually reduced to very abstract forms.
