Description

This magical creature, bearer of good fortune, symbol of power and prosperity in Eastern culture, is the protagonist of this spectacular limited edition by High Porcelain. The hundreds of scales that cover his skin are individually hand-painted with gold lustre, an extremely laborious technique that requires the expertise of the best artists. The brightness that characterizes his spectacular adornment is achieved through a combination of glossy and satin finishes, united by an iridescent metallic hue on the chest and a vibrant turquoise hue on the crest. The complexity of the dragon's shape and the sheer number of tiny details make the creation process extremely difficult, from modeling the original sculpture to the final firing in the kiln.
