Otto Kruch Bronze Statue: RHINOZEROS

Nikolaus-Otto Kruch is the son of a sculptor and a dancer - so he was born into the musical world. He was born as a Transylvanian Saxon in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and studied painting and sculpture in his hometown. International awards soon followed, such as twice (1979 and 1981) at the International Dante Biennale in Ravenna, which gave him contacts to the Italian art scene. In 1990 Kruch became a lecturer in sculpture and drawing at his home university, but in 1996 he decided to pursue art and life in Germany. Kruch is a member of the Art Association Romania as well as of the Federal Association of Visual Artists in Germany.
